Reviews and Ratings
I found the hotel to have a convenient location near downtown and the tunnel to Canada, making it great for exploring different restaurants and bars. However, the rates were a bit higher than expected. The rooms felt a bit cold and impersonal but were equipped with nice extras like a refrigerator, iron, and safe. The service was generally helpful, but there was a slight unprofessional vibe at times and a missed room cleaning during my stay. Breakfast started later than promised by the staff, but the organic options were enjoyable. The facilities were decent, although the overall pricing seemed a bit high.
My stay at Trumbell and Porter was a mix of ups and downs. The rooms were tucked away behind walls, but once inside, they were impeccably clean and had plenty of amenities, which made for a very comfortable stay. However, the price was a bit disappointing for what was offered.
I had a bit of a rush with the room availability, but overall, the hotel offers unique and comfortable rooms with plain white walls, polished cement floors, wood accents, a big window, and accent lighting for cozy nights. The service was kind and very knowledgeable, making my stay easy and enjoyable. The location is great for exploring Detroit, even though it was a bit pricier than expected, offering easy access to downtown and major traffic arteries. The dining experience was unique and tasty, even with a slight delay in breakfast. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a great stay.
